Editorial policy
Our aim is to make entertainment culture easier to understand without blurring fact, interpretation and promotion. Each article should state its subject plainly and give readers enough context to follow the argument.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against appropriate source material and avoid presenting uncertain claims as settled. Analysis and opinion are framed as such. We do not invent quotations, events, credentials or access, and we avoid unsupported claims about people’s private lives.
Independence
Editorial decisions belong to the publication. A commercial relationship does not buy favourable coverage or control over our conclusions. We do not accept payment in exchange for an undisclosed editorial recommendation.
Corrections
If a reader flags a possible error, we review the specific claim and amend it when warranted. Significant corrections should make clear what changed; minor edits for clarity may not need a separate notice. Use the Contact page to identify the article and detail.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner material is labelled clearly so readers can distinguish it from editorial work. We also identify illustrations that are AI-generated; illustrative images are not evidence of an event or person.
Showbiz is made, not merely watched
Behind every public image is a set of choices. We look at those choices without treating rumour as fact or spectacle as the whole story.
